The Greek word for “four”, tessera, also happens to be the name for a single tile in a mosaic. For our 4th season, haus of bambi was dedicated to the many facets that make up a collective.
New partnerships, new rooms, new stories, new names, new conversations.

HellBENT (Halloween 2024)
Jax, Grace, and Bambi closed out the grand finale of DC’s iconic party BENT at 9:30 Club.
We came dressed for Halloween as our favorite angel, Ebonibleu, and blessed the closing of the gates of Hell(BENT).
BENT is a historic queer dance party from DJ Lemz and is where many of DC’s artists got their first shift gogo dancing. We were honored to be part of its last dance with everyone.

JaxKnife Complex accepted the 2024 HAUS AWARD in a glamorous ceremony and show at Trade!
The night celebrated Jax with performances from past winners Bumper (2023), King Molasses (2022), Miss Grace David (2021), and host Bambi.

The Transformer *Gala* (Nov 2024)
We caused an absolute scene as MCs of Transformer Gallery’s 20th anniversary gala and auction. 😉
afterGLOW for BlackLight Summit (Feb 2025)
afterGLOW returned to Dance Place for a night of DMV drag excellence and defiance in the immediate wake of The Kennedy Center’s drag ban announcement.
Artists Hennessey, Qing Blaze, Stealya-Manz, Miss Grace David, Bumper and host Pussy Noir treated us to a necessary night of basking in their radiance.
Dinner with Bach Mai
(Feb 2025)
This February was Bambi’s 6th season as movement director for NY couturier Bach Mai.
Bach’s “show” was an intimate invite-only dinner for 100 of his biggest fans and friends at Maison Close in Soho.
Throughout dinner, models wearing the new collection scurried around the glamorous room whispering secrets to each other and to Bach, who was busy as the perfect host.
Bambi live-choreographed the models peacocking around the room and it was the most fun Bach and Bambi have had working together so far.
